Approaching the 20 year milestone since I set up in2interiors, I decided it was high time to enter the prestigious Spelthorne Business Awards – after all, I might even win!
Well I’m incredibly proud to say that I did! I won TWO awards for: Best Business in Ashford & Stanwell and Best Retail Excellence. I was also a runner up for the Best Creative/Innovative Business category. It was a fantastic night with a gala dinner and awards ceremony and my lovely family and friends were there to celebrate with me.
Spelthorne Business Awards are an annual event designed to recognise businesses in the borough in 13 categories. With hundreds of entrants, the judges of the awards certainly had their work cut out to pick the outright winners. The submission process for entering the awards was fairly straightforward but definitely took time to put together! Explaining in detail why I should win the award; what successes I was most proud of; and how I stand out from my competitors; required me to cast modesty aside and take a long hard look at what I’ve achieved and shout about it!
Winning the awards meant so much to me as a recognition of all the hard work I have put into running my business and giving my clients the value and service they deserve over the years; and I hope to do so for many more to come. I am delighted to have served several thousand happy customers whose homes and businesses I have transformed by giving them beautiful window dressings.
